Sinistaar

Holy crap what a fun game!!! It's a good thing I didn't find this out before I started the repack... I'd never have gotten anything done. Since I've been hawking on it for a few days, the Tandy SS/C is not required for this game's speech. Nor would it be wanted as it is not capable of putting the required inflections into the voice (at least not that I've heard). The 'I hunger!!!' sounds almost arcade quality and is equal to anything I've heard my TI do. Awesome game!!!

I'll be getting back to the repack content when I get my garage put up. I am having a 24' x 41' metal building put up, with 16' x 24' set aside for my workshop. Just waiting for a few things to fall into place... (at least I get some CoCoing done :-) )

Game is evil. I still keep playing it. Evil, I say! (In a good way, of course.)

Well, the vocals sound down right evil!!! And that's the point! What an awesome game. If this had come out earlier in the CoCo's life (well I guess the hardware couldn't handle it) the CoCo would've been taken much more seriously...

Briza was saying the Atari group has been looking for Sinistar for like 8 years..hehe... guess they need to start buying CoCo3's, hehe , uhm.. huh..oops, NO!!!

The Atari folks have enough Good Stuff. Sinistar is ours! hahaha! ahem...

I wonder if there's a way to optimize the game a bit though. It stutters when a lot of things get on the screen at once on my machine. Does it do that with the 63C09?

No idea. My only 6309 machine is the repack with 128K and can't play Sinistaar yet. Mary is looking for a 512k upgrade for me. Where she finds this stuff at blows me away, but, she has her contacts. Don't know why I just don't buy one from Cloud-9...

Hi Guys.

Yeah Atari had a Sinnistarr port in the making. But Atari pulled the plug on the game before it was finished.

By what I have read, The game still needs a lot of work to be done. But I have seen the screenshots for it. The Coco 3 version, makes the Atari version look like Dog doo doo's.

I think this is my 1st post here as well.
